Neway
Vertical lathes for the parts that are easier to load from above: flanges, housings, rings, valve bodies and wheels. Neway's VNL line runs from a 550 mm chuck machine to double-column machines, with live-turret and milling-spindle versions for turn-mill work in one setup.
Ram-type vertical lathes
Larger single- and double-column VTLs with a ram head and a table instead of a chuck. Lead-screw pre-stretching and a combined roller and box guideway for heavy cuts on big diameters.

Double-column vertical lathes
Two columns, one or two rams, for the largest diameters in the line. The VNL400 and VNL500 sizes sit above the 2500 mm machines and are quoted from the current factory sheet.

Vertical turning and grinding
A double-column machine with a turning ram on one side and a grinding head on the other, for turning and finish-grinding rings and discs to 2500 mm without a second machine.

Neway CNC Equipment builds machine tools in Suzhou, China, across seven categories, with a North American technology centre, Neway CNC USA, in Stafford, Texas. Compumachine carries the VNL vertical turning line: the machine for heavy, large-diameter work that is awkward or unsafe to hold horizontally, where gravity does the fixturing. Controls are FANUC or Siemens, either available on most models.
Typical work
Large-diameter flanges, bearing housings, rings, gear blanks and valve bodies. With a live turret or milling spindle, the same setup also drills bolt circles and mills keyways and faces.
