Twin Turret

This type of Mill-Turn center fully combines a lathe with a machining
center to harness the turning ability of a lathe and the milling
ability of a machining center.
The final machine configuration can be a combination of any of following
modules:
main
spindle,
sub
spindle,
upper turret,
lower turret, Y axis, Swivel turret & Swivel
milling head (B).
A very complex part which usually requires multiple setups can
be
machined
in a
single
setup
with a
Mill-Turn
center, the multiple turrets and/or mill head can cut simultaneously
from different directions, reduce cycel time & improve
part
accuracy.
